FWAIR overview
Artists escrow the NFTs, supporters provide the backing, and each position becomes either a direct backer award or an FWA listing.
FWAIR Launches let artists supply an NFT collection while supporters provide its ETH backing. Some NFTs are awarded directly to their supporters; the rest enter the main pool, where collectors can acquire them over time.
For artists
- Agree an approved campaign: the ERC-721 collection, sequential token range, base backing price, wallet limit, and support dates.
- Create the campaign and set its direct-award percentage, maximum backing multiplier, and any supporter eligibility rule. Deposit the complete NFT range before the support start. Completing escrow locks the direct-award percentage.
- Once every NFT has backing, the collection is activated for the pool. Randomness selects the direct awards, and the remaining NFTs enter the pool with their backing. Artists claim proceeds as outcomes and pool earnings accrue.
For supporters
Choose how many positions to back and a whole-number backing multiplier. The campaign assigns the next token IDs in order. Your backing stays in escrow until launch processing; the artist does not receive it simply because you supported.
A direct award gives you the NFT and gives its backing to the artist. For a pool listing, the eventual outcome gives you either the NFT or returned backing. After its withdrawal delay, an Active listing also lets you choose the NFT or a backing refund, subject to the pool's exit rules. Campaign FWA token rewards are shared across the original supported positions.
How launch listings work
- Recognized launch listings are exempt from the pool's floor-price cap and price-drift removal. This applies to listings submitted by the campaign, not every future listing from the same collection.
- When a purchaser keeps or relists a launch NFT, the pool returns its full backing to the supporter without the owner settlement fee.
- A pool acquisition can name a purchaser other than the wallet paying for it. That purchaser controls the pool settlement choices; the original supporter keeps their campaign claim and reward rights.
- The pool records each successful settlement outcome permanently and automatically attempts to update the campaign. If that update is delayed, anyone can synchronize it from the same record, preserving the correct beneficiary and amount.
If a campaign cannot finish
Incomplete escrow or funding can be finalized for full supporter refunds and artist NFT claims. A fully funded campaign also has a processing deadline: positions left unprocessed can be refunded while earlier awards and pool listings continue normally.
