Roles & controls
What depositors, purchasers, the owner, and operators control in the main pool.
The main pool (V2) connects depositors who supply positions with purchasers who pay for random allocation. The pool tracks its inventory, fee earnings, and participant rewards, with different responsibilities for each role.
- Depositors pair an NFT with ETH backing. Each active listing earns an equal acquisition-fee share, can earn FWA rewards weighted by square-root backing, and may hold its pool's crown. Selection ends that listing's future income. It may occur before earnings cover the depositor's costs or expectations.
- Purchasers are the recipients named in acquisition requests. They or a separate payer fund the quoted acquisition and VRF fees. After allocation purchasers can keep the NFT, relist with fresh backing, or accept the standing bid in ETH or FWA when enabled. Successful acquisitions can also earn purchaser FWA rewards. Deferred refund credits belong to that purchaser; immediate overpayments return to the payer. The NFT or settlement proceeds may be worth less than the acquisition cost.
- The protocol collects configured acquisition cuts, NFT-outcome settlement cuts, retained bid amounts, and an early-crown exit fee. Accrued protocol fees follow the pool's buyback and payout settings; the shared token market's trading fees use a separate recipient.
Nonexempt listings must fit the oracle ceiling when deposited or repriced. Eligible positions can be removed during cold windows, and crown holders face a 12-hour commitment before voluntary withdrawal or reduction becomes free of the early-crown charge.
Processors advance deferred requests in the required order. They cannot choose randomness or skip an earlier request. Anyone can also submit an eligible cold-window kick; receiving the assets remains the depositor's entitlement.
